First, thank you for joining Impact100 Martin. One of the many wonderful aspects of our organization is that members can have the experience and enjoyment of working with other members in a myriad of different ways to further our impact.

Impact100 Martin is a volunteer-run organization, so we rely on the energy and talents of our diverse membership to accomplish a wide range of activities. We welcome all members to get involved in any capacity that best suits their time and interest.  You can join one of our four standing committees or you can lend your time and expertise in certain situations as needed.

Attend Grant Celebration

Once you have made the commitment to join Impact100 Martin, the most basic thing you can do to get involved is attend the annual Grant Awards Celebration so you can vote for the grant recipients. If you cannot attend, then send in an absentee ballot. We will mail a link prior to the meeting to all members.

Membership

Membership Committee is active year-round and involves many! It oversees getting existing members to recommit and recruiting new members; and planning and hosting prospective membership gatherings and social events for members to engage with one another. This committee provides fun opportunities to interact with potential and current members.

Grants

Grants Committee members review and evaluate grant applications from area nonprofits, conduct site visits and select finalists for membership to vote on at annual Grant Awards Celebration. Training will be provided so no experience is necessary.  It’s a great way to learn about nonprofits in the community.

Events

Events Committee is responsible for planning and executing all details of our two annual events:  November Kickoff and April Grant Awards Celebration.  Committee members are involved in everything from securing a location, making arrangements for food and beverage, invitations, logistics for the events, getting sponsors etc.

Communications

The Communications Committee is focused on keeping past, current, and future members up to date on all things Impact. We collaborate with the membership, grants, and events committees to keep Impact100 members and partners informed and engaged as we continue to grow our Impact. Members help with graphic design, website and social media content development, photography, press relations as well as writing and editing our newsletter.

One and Done

Volunteers are offered the opportunity, depending on their time and interest, to assist various Impact100 Martin committees on specific, one-time tasks or projects which could include assembling packets, doing mailings, taking photos, registration at events, and more.

Share Your Professional Expertise
