Our mission: Women creating positive, lasting change in our community through collective giving.
Impact 100 Martin was founded in 2017, as a local chapter of the national Impact 100 Movement. It was founded by Ellyn Stevenson, Board Director of The Community Foundation Martin-St. Lucie, and Elizabeth Barbella, TCFMSL President & CEO, after they attended an Impact 100 Council conference in Boca Raton.
The concept behind Impact 100 is simple: A minimum of 100 women each contribute $1,100 ($1,000 grant monies & $100 administration) and join forces to award a game-changing $100,000 grant to the non-profit organization where it will have the most local impact. Impact 100 Martin grants go to a project/program that benefits Martin County. All membership contribution dollars except for the $100 administrative fees are given out in grants each year.
Impact 100 Martin is managed by an Executive Committee and four standing committees (Membership, Events, Grants and Marketing/Communications) composed of volunteers from the membership.
We welcome your membership in this unique philanthropic movement that is making a real impact in Martin County!
