A Boston native, Beth Brownell spent four decades in upstate New York working as a Physician Assistant, specializing in the field of addiction medicine.

While her career was focused on healthcare, her commitment to service became a lifelong endeavor. Beth dedicated herself to her local community through leadership roles in the PTA, serving for ten years as a coach, coordinator, and judge for Odyssey of the Mind, active participation in Scouting for both her children, and through service with the local Rotary Club alongside her husband, Tom.

After retiring, Beth and Tom chose Stuart as their new home and re-engaged with their passion for service by joining the Rotary Club of Stuart Sunrise. Beth also joined Impact100 at the urging of Sue Whittington and Linda Weiksnar and served on the Grants Committee.

Today, she and Tom balance their service work with travel, often visiting their children and grandchildren in Washington state and exploring new corners of the world
